Our theme display was items from Christmas past. Gayle Gettman shows one of the books, A Christmas Prayer book.
We would like to thank everyone who came out to our display and hope everyone enjoyed the Christmas on Court festivities. Don't forget to visit the Tazewell County Museum located in the Sunset Hills shopping plaza located at 2950 Court Street in Pekin. A special thank to Pat Moser, Barbara Tidaback, and Gayle Gettman who manned the display last night.
The Tazewell County Museum is dedicated to the preservation and protection of historic sites, buildings and artifacts important in the development of Tazewell County and to the education of the public about the early history of Tazewell County and its importance in the development of the State of Illinois and the United States as a whole.

CHRISTMAS TREES GOING UP AT MUSEUM

Other Christmas Trees that will be put up in the Museum from different groups will be Pekin Kiwanis Club, Mackinaw Historical Society, and the E. Peoria Women's club.

In other Museum news, the Museum will have a display inside the Courthouse for Christmas On Court Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. The display will feature items from Christmas past. Children can purchase ornaments for .50 cents and decorate them and keep them for themselves.
