MUSEUM CELEBRATES "CHRISTMAS ON COURT" WITH OTHER BUSINESSES DOWNTOWN

Children of all ages enjoyed themselves Friday night with Pekin Main Streets "Christmas On Court". Several downtown businesses participated in the program held yearly.

This year the Museum had children choose between an already cut out sweater and then decorated it with glue, glitter or other decorations to participate in the ugliest sweater event.

This is the second year the Museum has been downtown to participate in Pekin Main Streets programs. Last year children made decorating chains made from paper.

The Museum would like to remind all members that its time to renew their memberships, and that the Museum will be closed for Christmas vacation from December 21 through January 3. We will reopen on January 4, 2016. Museum hours are Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM YOUR FRIENDS AT THE TAZEWELL COUNTY MUSEUM!
