EARLY INDUSTRY:  Maps, documents and artifacts on coal mines. Information on companies like Caterpillar, Distilleries, etc., that played an important role in our economic development.

HINNER'S ORGAN FACTORY:  A piano and two organs from 1917 are on display.

HISTORICAL DOCUMENTS: Information from 1680 to the present.

PHOTOGRAPHY: Over 800 Cole's photographs of early male settlers of Tazewell County. Come and see if YOUR ancestor is HERE!

PRE-HISTORY:  Mammoth teeth and bones.

NATIVE AMERICANS:  Artifacts from our local Native American history.

RAILROADS:  Photos, artifacts, documents, documents, blueprints, maps and historical information. Tazewell County was a major railroad hub and the museum has a large, archival library collection.

SENATOR EVERETT M. DIRKSEN COLLECTION:  Contains artifacts, clothing and law library.

WARTIME MEMORABILIA:  Veteran's room with items from the Civil War to today's recent conflicts. A large Civil War Library of the Unions and Confederacy, Army & Navy consisting of over 400 volumes- including a map collection.
